Obiano set to create more employment opportunities

Governor Willie Obiano says he will do everything humanly possible to ensure that  the staggering figure of unemployed youths in the state is reduced to the barest minimum.
He stated this during an empowerment programme organized for youths by the State Ministry of Works in Awka recently.
Governor Obiano, who expressed worry over the rate at which some youths are roaming all the nooks and crannies of the state as well as engaging in some anti-social activities, urged them to make gainful use of the skill acquisition centres, built across the state.
Governor Obiano also adviced the youths to emulate the one hundred fifty of their colleague who benefited from the programme, he embarked upon in order to reduce the high rate of criminalities and other social vices.
In their separate remarks, an engineer from State Road Maintenance Agency, Mr. Austin Anazodo and Mr. Emeka Onuorah, appreciated the efforts of Governor Obiano in championing empowerment in the state  to divert their minds from crime..
The duo appealed to parents and guardian to encourage their children and wards to embrace the government’s programme to make them better individuals.
