South East Govs urged to emulate Obiano

South-East Governors have been urged to under-study the leadership style of Governor Willie Obiano to forge a synergy that will accelerate over all development of the South East.
Speaking to journalists in Awka, the Chairman, Willie Obiano support Group, Sir Jude Emecheta said the Governor has demonstrated unique administrative acumen that placed the state in fore-front in many development indices.

alled that under Governor Obiano, Anambra emerged from its security challenges to become the most secured state in the country.
He noted that while many states are grappling with the burden of unpaid salaries of workers, the Governor has maintained regular payment of salaries and tempo of infrastructural development.
He enjoined residents of the State to be alive to their civic responsibilities by paying their taxes and levies promptly into the state government accounts to boost the IGR in view of the dwindling Federal allocation.
The Transition Committee Chairman, Orumba South, Mr John Onyeakpa said Year 2015 Governor Award o the Governor is a clear testimony that Governor Obiano’s numerous achievements are appreciated beyond the borders of the state.
Mr Onyeakpa, noted that the Governor’s development initiatives have given life to areas hitherto neglected by previous administrations.
Also speaking, a member of Civil Society Organization, Mrs Rosemary Nwankwo said the Governor’s gender friendly policy has given women more voice with stronger voice in socio-economic and political issues.
