Anambra State will soon become an exporter of rice - Oye

Anambra State will soon become an exporter of rice .
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Oye disclosed this while speaking with the ABS in Awka.


Chief Oye stated that the government is steadily promoting agriculture in all the agrarian communities across the state, noting that they are producing enough that can go round and have surplus for export and called on the people of the state to embrace agriculture for food sufficiency and as a means of livelihood.


He noted that every community has benefited in one way or the other from the present administration, adding that Anambra is one of the three states that still pay workers salaries as and at when due.


Chief Oye maintained that so much have been achieved by the present administration in many areas such as security, food sufficiency, infrastructural development among others.


Contributing, a youth leader, Mr. Peter Ozumba, maintained that every community has felt the impact of the Obiano administration in terms of development and called on the citizenry to continue with their support to the present administration.
