First Aid kits, now compulsory for motorists in the state - Commissioner

 

The Commissioner for Road, Rail and Water Transportation Prince Chinwe Nwaebili has been speaking on the importance of first aid kits introduced by the state government.

Princess Nwaebili stated this while speaking to the newsmen in Awka.

The commissioner who said that the first aid kits recently introduced by the state government in line with the safety recommendation of the federal road safety corps was to help both commercial and private car owners to respond to emergencies at any time, urging Ndi Anambra and the motoring public in the state to purchase the kits.

Princess Nwaebili made it clear that it was mandatory that all motorists in the state have the kits in their vehicle, stating that soon the ministry will embark on enforcement activities across the state to arrest defaulters.

She implored transport emphasized that the introduction of the measure was not to witch hunt anybody but rather geared towards ensuring that Ndi Anambra are protected in case of any emergency.
