Iyiorah Anam Community Hails Obiano Administration For Rare Gesture


The people of Iyiorah Anam in Anambra West local government area have now heaved a sigh of relief as Governor Willie Obiano administration has completed the construction of a bridge linking the community to the rest of Anambra West and East communities.

The community has remained isolated on the Island in between the two local government areas for many years....
Iyiorah Anam is one of the smallest communities in the state and has not had any government attention since the creation of Anambra state until Governor Obiano led administration came on board.

 Appreciating Governor Obiano, the President-General of the community, Chief Michael Nnakwuzie, said the Governor has equitably delivered dividends of democracy to all the communities in the state which Iyiorah Anam is one of the beneficiaries.
Commending Governor Obiano on his giant strides and benevolence to Iyiorah people, the President-General said the people of the community were grateful to the Governor for his uncommon gesture as socour has come the way of the community.
Chief Nnakwuzie further disclosed that the whole community has endorsed the Governor for a second tenure in office for him to continue his good works in the state.

 Also speaking, another member of the community and Chairman Akpuodike Action Group for continuity, Mr. Michael Nwofiah, extolled Governor Willie Obiano for remembering the community adding that the group has also endorsed him for another term in the office.
The youth leader of the community, Mr. Peter Nwofia equally said that the youths of the community were happy with the Governor as the bridge will scale up tempo of socio-economic activities on the area and enable them to interact with the rest of Ndi Anambra.
