Re- Anambra Security.

By George Udedibia

Ikechukwu Emeka Onyia, in as much as I try to spare you because I know you had been in the 'wilderness' for donkey years, I owe it as a duty to ndi Anambra to put the record straight so that you do not deceive the gullible minds with your lies and 'small knowledge'. Your daily complain about the water tight security in Anambra State is a thing of concern to many and I ask, 'is the security of lives and property of Ndi Anambra a threat to you and your Boss? Will you prefer a situation where violent crime, kidnapping reigns in Anambra State? However, permit me to digress.

Your continued hammering on the 75 Billion investments made by the former Governor of Anambra State as if it is a solvent and ready cash at the disposal of the present administration is a thing of worry to some of us your friends who know that you are a fifth year law student. I am surprised that a Lawyer in Equity like you can pen such trash all in your bid to rubbish a confirmed sterling performance of the current administration. Ikechukwu Emeka Onyia, In any case, I will for the sake of the reading public let you know that the investments are for the future and like I tutored a follow rebel like you, Ugwuoyibo, the maturity dates of the investments are between 2018, 2025 and 2030. What this means is that the totality of the Investments are not for the current administration of Akpokuodike to access. Also, may I remind you that most of the investments are toxic like the investment in Emenite, Enugu where the former Governor invested 750 Million of our money. Also, it is disheartening to remember that our former Governor invested in Osun, Ekiti, Ghana and Borno Bonds while negleting healthy investment opportunities in Nigeria.

I will conclude by asking you to please make available to the world the value of what comes to the State from Federal allocation on monthly basis since you claim to know all so that Ndi Anambra will see the folly and stupidity in your claim of 1.2 Billion Security Vote to the Governor every month. My sincere concern is why you and your Boss are not comfortable with the peace and security in Anambra State. Ndi Anambra feels secure and that is the reason your boss is physically present in Anambra State investing in sports. Four years ago, you and I know that he cannot do that because this enabling environment was not there for him to do what he is doing now. I smell a rat here Ikechukwu and please do not allow the insinuation that you are allergic to peace and crime free society to gain ground. A genuine Anambrarian is proud of what the current Governor has achieved in security in the two years and some months he is in charge to the extent that Anambra is rated as the most secure State in the Country.

There is security in Anambra State. Workers are paid as at when due. Pensioners are happy because not even one is been owned. The systems is in good shape because the Government of Anambra State is able to take care of the number one responsibility of every government to it's citizen which is Security of lives and property. When next you wish to write about the Government of Akpokuodike, be matured in your reasoning and stop trying to play on the emotion of Ndi Anambra with fallacy laced in folly and stupidity.
