Anambra North Senatorial Communities Declare Support For Gov Obiano's Second Tenure

Various communities from Anambra North senatorial district have started declaring one after the other, their resolve to return Governor Willie Obiano for another term in office to allow him consolidate on his good works in the state.
At Umueri in Anambra East Council Area, the community unanimously passed a resolution to support Governor Obiano in the forthcoming governorship election when mem...bers of “Stakeholders for Obiano Second Tenure,” visited them for a town hall meeting.
The traditional ruler of Umueri, Chief Ben Emeka while addressing the audience appealed to communities in Anambra South and central senatorial districts to rally support for Governor Willie Obiano to go for second term and expect the same support from Anambra North senatorial districts in 2021, when it will be the turn of either of the other two senatorial districts to produce governor.
Igwe Emeka said Governor Obiano had done enough and was still doing more for Umueri and others around it to redeem his campaign promises.
He advised his people to stick to Governor Obiano when the governorship election would come up and never to listen to any other candidate from any zone.
National cordinator of the group, Chief Ekene Enefe, told the gathering that the Governor’s achievements on ground speak volume to the extent that other governors had to consult him especially in the area of security and agricultural revolution in the state which he described, as second to none in Nigeria.
Chief Enefe insisted that Governor Obiano should be given the chance to consolidate on his achievements other than allowing a beginner to reverse developmental strides of Anambra State.
