Gov Obiano Emphasizes Need For Ndi Anambra To Take Full Ownership Of The State

Governor Willie Obiano has charged Ndi-Anambra to take full ownership of the State.
Speaking at Neni, in Anaocha Local Government Area, during the seventy-third birthday anniversary of the Managing Director of TONIMAS Nigeria Limited, Chief Anthony Enukeme, Governor Obiano called for a collaboration between the government and people for enhanced development of the State....
The Governor who described Chief Enukeme, as a major stakeholder in the Anambra project, commended him for single handedly making all feeder roads in his country home Neni, motorable and called on other affluent individuals in the state to emulate him.
Governor Obiano, who was represented by his Deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke, while congratulating Chief Enukeme on his seventy-third birthday, used the forum to enumerate the giant strides of his administration in the security of lives and property, agriculture, industrialization, among others and promised Ndi Anambra a bright future, despite the present economic recession in the country.
The Governor also revealed that the state will hit the production of three hundred and thirty thousand metric tones of rice, before December 2017 which is a lot different from the ninety thousand metric tones he met on ground on assumption of office.
In a remark, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye thanked Chief Enukeme for his support to the Obiano administration, reminding the people of the need to re-elect Governor Obiano in this year’s gubernatorial election, to enable him consolidate on his accomplishments in the State.
Others who spoke at the event including, the Special Assistant to the Governor on political Matters, Mr Ejike Okechuku as well as Sir John Ifejiofor, praised the celebrant, Chief Anthony Enukeme for using his wealth to touch lives and prayed God to continue to strengthen him.
Expressing his joy for attaining the age of seventy-three, Chief Anthony Enukeme thanked God for sustaining him and urged Ndi Anambra to support Governor Obiano who according to him has all it takes to transform the state.
The event which was attended by crème la de crème of the society including the Commissioner for Health Dr Josephat Akabuike, and his Lands counterpart, Mr Okey Muoka, among others featured cutting of the birthday cake by the celebrant, dance and a special rendition by Veteran highlife maestro, Peacemaker Okpala.
