Governments in Nigeria have been implored to always make sacrifices in order alleviate the plight of the masses.
A catholic priest, Reverend Father John Manafa gave this charge during a joint thanksgiving mass by the United Anambra Youths Assembly, the Willie Obiano Support Group and Ebele Obiano Ladies Movement at Saint Dominic Catholic Church, Abatete in Idemili local government area.

e imperative for peace and stability of the society and commended the present Anambra state government for doing a lot to enhance the welfare of the citizenry.
In a remark, the special adviser to the governor on political matters, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe assured that the Obiano administration would enhance the tempo of delivery of democracy dividends in Anambra state and called on Ndi Anambra to throw their full weight behind the efforts for the reelection of Governor Obiano for a second term in office.
For his part, the chairman of the Willie Obiano Support Group, Sir Jude Emecheta called for sustained synergy between the church and the state government pointing out that it would be necessary for the church to show keen interest in this year's gubernatorial poll in the state in order to checkmate the incidence of electoral fraud and malpractices.
Others who spoke after the church service included the coordinator of Ebele Obiano Ladies Movement, Mrs. Amala Nwadialor and the General Manager of Anambra State Waste Management Agency, ASWAMA, Barrister Philip Chinwuba among others.
The thanksgiving mass attracted hundreds of APGA faithful across the state and top government officials.
