Increasing Support For Obiano’s Second Term Bid, A Good Omen - Obidigwe

The Special Adviser to the governor on Political Matters, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, has described the increasing spate of adoption of
Governor Willie Obiano for the November 18, 2017 poll by several influential groups in the state as a very good omen.
Chief Obidigwe made this observation during a meeting with the leadership of Ebelechukwu Obiano Ladies Movement at the Government House, Awka. He said that the latest endorsement of the governor by the Anambra North Peoples Assembly, ANPA, has further galvanized his grassroots support base, pointing out that the governor's popularity was predicated on his verifiable sterling performance in the past three years.
The governor's political adviser enjoined other gubernatorial aspirants from Anambra North Senatorial District to withdraw and throw their weight behind Governor Obiano, assuring them that the incumbent helmsman of the state would accommodate their interests during and after the November 18, 2017 guber poll.
Chief Obidigwe also gave kudos to the first lady of Anambra state, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, for placing the interests of physically challenged persons, widows and other less privileged individuals, top on the priority of her pet project known as Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFÉ, pointing out that the program has truly endeared Governor Obiano and his wife to Ndi Anambra.
For her part, the coordinator of Ebelechukwu Obiano Ladies Movement, Mrs. Amala Nwadialor, said her group has intensified efforts to mobilize grassroots support for the re-election of Governor Obiano.
Mrs. Nwadialor also observed that the recent compensation of victims of last month's Onitsha fire disaster by the state government has further demonstrated that Governor Obiano is a compassionate and responsive leader who should be supported fervently by the citizenry.
