Obidigwe Appears Before State House : Clarifies Issues


The seeming differences between the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Mr. Chinedu Obidigwe and the State Legislature have been amicably resolved.
The resolution followed Mr. Obidigwe’s appearance before the House-in-session during which he clarified the House on activities of his office, thereby fostering a better understanding between them.
Mr. Obidigwe assured that he will continue to work with Governor Willie Obiano and the State House of Assembly to move the state forward.
The House later accepted Mr. Obidigwe’s clarifications following a motion moved by the Deputy Speaker, Sir Hafford Oseke, and supported by the member representing Anambra East Constituency, Mr. Obinna Emeneka and his Njikoka Two counterpart, Dr. Pete Ibida.
Meanwhile, the member representing Onitsha South One Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Mr. Patrick Aniuno, has expressed optimism that the 2017 Appropriation Bill passed by the House will further strengthen the state economy and enable Governor Willie Obiano achieve his vision for the state this year.
Mr. Aniuno commended the lawmakers for the role they played towards the passage of the 2017 Appropriation Bill and urged all the state ministries to utilize their budgetary allocations in order to realize the economic blueprint.
