Igwe Umueri Lauds Obiano For Upholding Equity And Fairness

The newly installed traditional ruler of Umueri, Igwe Ben Emeka says his community has never felt the impact of governance as it is in the present dispensation.

Igwe Emeka made the assertion at his Okebo Palace, Umueri, when the executive members of All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) in Anambra North senatorial Zone led by their chairman, Chief Chinedu Nnatuanya, called on him.
Igwe Benneth Emeka who extolled the giant strides of Governor Willie Obiano in developing all sectors of the state, disclosed that the present administration had extended the dividends of democracy to all nooks and crannies of the state.
He said that the Umueri Town hall funded with the state government’s twenty million naira community chose your project initiative, and the five kilometer Umueri shell road to Otucha – market have been completed while the six kilometer Ogbu- Mgbede Onitsha road is seventy percent completed.
Igwe Emeka called on Ndi Anambra north to ensure they vote Governor Obiano in for second tenure to enable him to complete his mandate, even as he charged the APGA executive to embark on grassroots mobilization.
Earlier in his speech, the APGA Chairman, Anambra north senatorial District, Chief Chinedu Nnatuanya thanked God for the new traditional ruler, whom, he said, has contributed to the growth of the party and development of Umueri community.
Chief Nnatuanya called on all to rally round the party, promising that he will do all within his powers to ensure a clean sweep for the party in the forthcoming governorship election.
