Obiano Has Earned Re-election - Obidigwe

-07 April 2017

Youths have been implored to lend their unflinching support to the Obiano administration in order to benefit maximally from its people oriented policies and programmes.

The Special Adviser to the governor on Political Matters, Comrade Chinedu Obidigwe gave this advice during a stakeholders meeting of leaders of the United Anambra Youth Assembly U-AYA and Ebelechukwu Obiano Ladies Movement in Awka.
Comrade Obidigwe said that Chief Dr. Willie Obiano is evidently the most youth friendly governor that had ever governed Anambra state pointing out that more than fifty percent of the governor's political appointees are young men and women below the age of fifty.
He also said that apart from the thousands of opportunities opened up by the governor for employment in the civil and public services of the state, the Anambra Small Business Agency, ASBA and the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency, ANSIPPA have created many other opportunities for the citizenry to be empowered and enriched.
The Political Adviser emphasized that all hands should be on deck to ensure re-election of the governor in the forthcoming gubernatorial poll.
Comrade Obidigwe equally noted that Governor Obiano's victory would be made easier by the fact that he has recorded numerous egalitarian achievements in the past three years adding that his choose-your-project- initiative in the one hundred and eighty one communities in the state has taken democracy dividends to all the nooks and crannies of Anambra state.
For her part, the state coordinator of Ebelechukwu Obiano Ladies Movement, Mrs. Amala Nwadialor said that women are faithful and dedicated believers in just causes pointing out that they would once again prove it in the November 18, 2017 governorship election in the state.
Mrs. Nwadialor also charged Ndi Anambra to remain supportive of the present administration in the state because of the peace, stability, security and economic prosperity it has enthroned and sustained in the state adding that Governor Obiano would further take Anambra state to a higher pedestal in his second term in office.
